Yay, it is the Lord who speaks in mysterious ways. But it is the Devil who WORKS in mysterious ways.
Listen to me when I tell you… Listen now, I beg you…
The Lord I speak of is the God of Abraham, the God of David, the God of Israel of old.
The Devil is the angel Lucifer, banished from the ranks of Heaven’s fleet, brother of the archangel Michael, and the Prince of Darkness.
They are forever at war!
For the symbols before you, ominous though they may be, will be of a positive or negative nature. You will only know by whether or not you grow or decay after sighting, feeling, or hearing them…
The Lord does not speak in words.
Not through your ear, your neighbor, or even your Sunday preacher. He speaks directly to your life through experiences, coincidences, and synchronicities. He speaks when your soul is attached to hear Him. Not when it is idle, latent, and complacent.
What need have you of the Lord when your daisies flourish? Only when they wither, will you call upon the heavenly realm to save your crops.
But all throughout the year, the daisy grows. Every milestone of that is the Lord’s whisper, which grows into a stem, a stalk, a bud, a flower, at last the daisy is big and strong.
If you are wise, you will know when the stem became a stalk. For it happened when you least expected but most required something to gaze at among your stress of that day.
If you are wise, it’s stalk was only noticed while taking a walk through the fields. There the Lord has spoken! For his creation does evolve…
If you are wise, you will see his mark.
And if you are wiser, you will know that every story about him is for the most part wrong.
The Lord seeks a personal relationship, yes, but it is a relative relationship.
He does not speak to me the way he speaks to you. And no one else hears him the same either.
Like Harriet Tubman who saw him in visions, I see him in the wind, moon, and stars. Where will you hear the Lord??!
We all hear the Devil.
Loud as our impulses, our Id, our ego, and our mistakes when we are desperate.
Oh yes, the Devil is not a liar, he is a temptress. A snake we can always follow, or deny…
He works through the men and women who sell themselves and cross your path while the cash burns holes in your pocket. Tempting you away from an innocent date. Why, this is so much quicker! Pleasure has arrived!
Why pay for it when we can pay for it sooner???
He works into our system while we sit bored and waiting for The Lord to show himself again. To speak loud enough that we hear him.
When the truth is closer to the story of Job. It’s just that Job’s tests are more commonplace than ever thought of before.
Will you forsake the Lord while the Devil baits you with his most lowering debacles of increasing desperation, isolation, and… lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely pain…
Well?
Are you truly strong in the eyes of whatever Lord doth wait for its presence?
The Lord will see you show your strength!
He will not follow the Devil’s path with you, but he may show you the way once you have decided to grow and not decay.
The Lord may not be the God of the Torah, but we know of Him through the biblical tales. If he is the God of the New Testament than Christ is Lord!
But if Christ is not, and the Lord is still a mystery, then I still seek his face.

Amen…
