Oh genius

What is wisdom

Oh dude

What is Omni-

All I know

Is what character

Nature

Reveals

*

With character

Comes flaw

Comes habit

And quirk

*

It comes from the mind

Diseased or never

Directs the body

Toward fight or for pleasure

*

Oh genius

What is need

Oh dude

What is obsession

*

What is psycho

Or danger

Laziness or addiction

*

Perfection is sought

At the promise of paradise

At consequence of punishment

Though each are fabrications

*

Only purgatory is

Our atoning for sins

All through this sick path

With guilt on our backs

*

And death is our peace

Omni-opposite

A grove of the fallen

Where grief lay upon it

*

The show is right here

Life is why we’re here

For all that we find

For all that we hear

*

And for all that we know

Together and alone

For better and worse

Life is the best curse

*

To learn love and betrayal

Feel running, feel stillness

To breathe the next air

In our human evolution

*

Until the end 

Of the galaxy

When the sun

Destroys everything

*

We will be marching uphill

Trying to be better

To the people of our time

Steering our loved ones

Through it…
